+# Synthetic LeafWiki fixtures
+
+M4 adds versioned, fully synthetic LeafWiki SQLite/hybrid fixtures after the actual source
+shape is understood from official source code and/or a read-only user snapshot.
+
+Rules:
+
+- no real pages, usernames, paths or attachments;
+- fixtures are deterministic;
+- every known adapter has positive and signature-mismatch fixtures;
+- source trees are hashed before and after tests;
+- malformed/unknown schemas are represented deliberately;
+- no test can write journal, cache or temp files inside a source fixture.
+
+The generic Markdown fixture already exists under `fixtures/markdown-import/`.
